Stop Starting Over.
You're not lazy. You're not weak. You haven't failed.
You've just never been shown a way of doing this that actually lasts.
Twenty-five years of coaching has taught me why almost everything you've tried was set up to fail from the start. Give me four minutes and I'll show you. Press play before you read on.
Eight weeks ago, Kate wasn't sure she'd be able to stay consistent with Built to Last…
She'd done the crash diets and extreme regimes before. And, like so many people, she knew what it was like to start something with the best intentions… only to wonder whether this time would actually be any different.
Eight weeks later, we asked her what had changed.
This was her answer…
“Physically, mentally, and emotionally, I feel like a completely different person compared to eight weeks ago.”
I’ve lost 9.5kg, but the practical, everyday changes have meant even more to me.
The constant throbbing in my back, hips and feet has significantly reduced, giving me back the freedom to move comfortably and with energy. My energy is now steady from morning to evening, without the massive dips I used to accept as normal.
The constant ‘food noise’ and impulsive cravings have quietened down completely. I feel fully in control, confident in my choices, and no longer view food through a lens of guilt or restriction.
I feel so much more comfortable in my own skin. Instead of seeing my body as something that holds me back or needs to be hidden, I see it as capable, strong and deserving of care.
I no longer feel the need to hide away in photos with my daughter or avoid social occasions. I’m showing up as a happier, more energetic partner and mum, with genuine motivation and presence.
And I think one of the biggest things for me is that, unlike crash diets or extreme regimes in the past, this hasn’t felt like something I’m just enduring or waiting to finish.
I genuinely feel like this way of living is sustainable, and I want to keep going with it simply because I love how I feel.
I feel proud, confident, and deeply grounded in the knowledge that I am worthy of making time for myself.
I appreciate you creating a program that actually delivers.
— Kate
Where I Went Wrong
For years, I did everything I was supposed to.
Clients came to me with their goals, did the work, and got the results. Job done.
Then a year later, they'd be back. Same starting point.
And it got to me. Because they felt like they'd failed, and they hadn't. They'd worked so hard.
I'd helped them hit a goal, meeting them where they were at… but I never taught them the thing that actually mattered:
how to understand their own bodies and hold on to the results for good.
That's on me, and on this whole industry.
Not them.
Because somewhere along the way, we were all sold the same finish line. And at its core, it's always a look – one you want by a date.
A holiday. A wedding. A summer. Or a number on the scale.
You go all in, you get there… and then what?
You stop.
Because that's what a finish line is – it's where you stop. You then relax, and slowly it all slips back, until you're right where you started.
And while you're chasing that finish line, you're relying on an app that turns every meal into a sum.
A watch that buzzes because you're 2,000 steps short.
A scale that decides whether it's a good or bad day before you've even had breakfast.
Every one of them is doing the same thing: teaching you to hand your health over to something outside yourself.
And the more they feed you data, the less you can hear what your body's telling you.
Then you stop listening altogether.
You're so busy looking at these things for answers that you never stop to ask the real question:
Am I even aiming at the right target?
What does my body actually need?
What makes me feel good, and not just look it?
What's going to keep me well in ten years… not just ten weeks?
You're Not The Problem
So if that's ever been you – back at square one, thinking you were the one who failed… you weren't.
You did everything you were asked.
And here's the part nobody tells you.
It might not be your age. It might not be your hormones.
And it certainly doesn't mean there's some flaw in you.
The willpower you thought you were missing?
You had it all along.
In fact, the people who struggle the most are often the people trying the hardest.
Trying to eat perfectly.
Trying to stay motivated.
Trying to rely on willpower.
Trying to punish yourself into change.
Because you thought if you just tried harder, this time would be different.
But it was never about trying harder.
You were aiming at a finish line, when the thing that actually lasts doesn’t have a finish line at all.
“I feel more in control than ever. So much more energy. And every pair of jeans I own now seems to be heading to the charity shop.”
Why This Is Different To Everything You've Tried
So I designed Built to Last to do the opposite of what the industry does by creating a small-group coaching programme with:
no counting, no chasing numbers, and no finish lines…
Just a way of living that actually lasts.
And yes – you'll still get the body… better than before, easier than before, and for longer than before.
It's just no longer the main focus.
Because this time you're learning the thing that actually lasts: how to read your own body, so you become the one person who’s actually qualified to run your health.
You become the expert in you.
“My relationship with food has changed. It’s planned, structured, and in line with what my body actually needs.”
How The 8 Weeks Work
-
There's a pre-week (a full 7 days), starting Monday, 7th September.
This is just to ease you in - start tapering things like caffeine, sugar, alcohol, etc., and get a few simple habits in place so week 1 doesn't smack you in the face too hard.
This is also a great opportunity to quit those other pesky habits such as vaping or smoking, if that's something you've been wanting to do!
Nothing extreme - just getting you ready.
-
The first two weeks are the big one. We call it Reset.
This is where we strip things back. Caffeine, sugar, alcohol, nicotine, processed food, the lot. I won't pretend that's not a big change, because it is.
But here's why it works: we do it now, while your motivation's at its highest, and we do it properly, so you actually feel the difference. The fog lifts. Sleep settles. Cravings quieten. And you realise how much those "harmless little things" were quietly running the show.
We'll bring in some simple daily habits and gentle movement too. Nothing intense, you may feel a bit rough for the first few days as your body adjusts, so the harder training can wait until you're ready.
It's only two weeks.
Though honestly? Most people choose to carry on with it well beyond that, because they feel so good. And that's usually the moment it clicks: this was never about deprivation. It's about feeling better than you have in years.
-
Weeks 3 and 4, things get a little easier.
Back on the booze and vapes!
…Sorry. Not quite.
But after two weeks clean, even a bit of fruit tastes incredible. Seriously.
This is where we start bringing things back in, one at a time, so you feel exactly how each one affects you. What lifts you, what drains you, what you can take or leave. More variety, a bit more freedom, and the workouts come in.
And this is where things begin to shift. Your body and brain start working with you instead of against you. Everything just gets easier.
-
By now you've got some structure, some solid habits, and you actually feel pretty bloody good.
So we keep bringing new foods in and push the training harder. But this is the real shift: you start putting what you've learned into practice yourself. On your terms, in your actual life.
Real situations. Meals out, a busy week, a weekend away. The stuff that used to throw you completely off.
And this is where the real confidence gets built. Not because someone's telling you what to do, but because you're starting to work it out for yourself.
-
Now the stabilisers come off.
By now it shouldn't feel like a "diet" you're counting down to the end of. It should be starting to feel like… just how you do things.
You stop asking "what am I allowed?" and start asking "how do I actually want to live?"
And you're doing all this without it being stressful. No food obsession. No living off lettuce and sadness. Just paying attention, keeping it simple, and trusting what your body's telling you.
This is where the new identity starts to land:
"I actually enjoy exercise."
"That salad was genuinely delicious, and I feel amazing."
"I had a few drinks last night, had a great time, and feel zero guilt."
Not perfection. Just consistency, even when life gets busy.
“The guilt that used to creep in after eating has gone. No more post-meal slumps either, I just feel good.”
What We Focus On - The Core 5
-
Breaking the cycle
“On/off” pattern — no more “I’ll start Monday" cycles again
THE PAUSE APPROACH — A moment between impulse and action… where better decisions are made
Pattern awareness — understanding what actually knocks you off track
Follow-through — doing what you said you would… even when you can’t be arsed
Self-trust — keeping promises to yourself and backing your own decisions
Identity shift — from “trying to be healthy” to just becoming that person
-
Simple, structured, real food
Whole foods first — food that fuels you, not fights you
No overthinking — simple structure instead of calorie counting
Stable energy — fewer spikes, crashes, and getting rid of the constant cravings
Confidence with food — knowing what to eat without second-guessing
Enjoyment — meals that actually satisfy, not something you just “get through”
Less reliance on processed foods — not restriction, just better options that work for you
-
Train with purpose
Build muscle — look better, feel stronger, and support long-term health
Train progressively — structured sessions, not random workouts
Move daily — walking and general movement that supports your body
Energy & headspace — feel better, not just more tired
Longevity focus — strength and fitness that carries into later life
-
The daily standards
Planning & preparation — making good choices your regular go-tos
Spotting your triggers — recognising what tends to knock you off track, and planning around it
Daily structure — routines that keep you steady without overthinking
Consistency over perfection — done regularly, not perfectly
Sleep foundations — better nights = better decisions
Anchors in your day — small actions that keep everything on track
-
Feel better → do better
Calm the system — move out of the constant “wired and tired” state
Support your mood — better energy, motivation, and clarity
Stress awareness — understanding how it impacts food, energy, and behaviour
Better sleep quality — deeper rest, clearer thinking, more stable energy
Hormonal balance — supporting appetite, mood, and recovery
Improved wellbeing — feeling calmer, clearer, and more like yourself
How It Runs
You'll be part of a small coaching group, so you can share the misery with others.
Sorry. I mean… support each other and have a bit of fun.
We're not after perfection. But we do need a bit of commitment and consistency. (No Flaky Stevens, please.)
You’ll get:
A clear structure to follow each week
Nutrition guidelines with personalised portions
Gym or home training plans specific to you
Daily standards (the boring stuff that actually gets results)
Weekly progress check-ins
Ongoing support and accountability within the group
App access so everything’s in one place and easy to follow
A 1-to-1 call with me after four weeks, to review your progress and plan the next phase
Email support for those times when you need a little helping hand
What You’ll Notice
If you actually stick to it:
You'll lose body fat and tone up
You'll stop thinking about food all the time, and cravings quiet right down
Your energy will increase, and feel steadier
You'll feel sharper and more focused, with less brain fog and overwhelm
You'll feel less puffy, less bloated, generally lighter, as pain and inflammation settle
You'll feel stronger and more capable in your body
Clearer skin, brighter eyes, an overall glow
You'll feel better in yourself; calmer, clearer, happier
You'll stop the cycle of starting over every few weeks
You'll start trusting yourself again, because for once you're actually following through
And the things that used to feel like real effort just start to feel normal
“It’s changed me as a person for the better and losing weight was the bonus.”
So, what did our clients want to do at the end of the eight weeks?
Everything you've just read is what we set out to help people achieve with Built to Last.
But throughout the eight weeks, we were constantly listening to the people actually doing it.
What was working. What wasn't. What they wanted more of. And, as we got closer to the end, what they wanted to happen next.
And the answer became pretty clear:
They wanted to keep going.
So we created Integrate — an optional four-week phase for anyone who wanted a little longer with our support to continue building on everything they'd started.
There was no expectation to continue.
But when we gave them the choice...
Every single person in our latest group decided to stay.
That's 100% of our latest group choosing another four weeks.
So... it can't be that bad, can it?
And for a programme built around the idea that you shouldn't be counting down the days until you can finally stop and go back to how you were living before...
we're pretty bloody proud of that!
“Definitely will continue. I don’t even want to go back to how it was.”
Is This For You?
Quick bit of honesty before you go further, because this isn't for everyone, and I'd rather you know that now.
You’ve probably gathered this is no ordinary "diet and training plan." It asks more of you than following a meal plan and hoping it sticks.
Which means it asks one big thing: commitment. Not to me. To yourself.
The people who get the most from this programme aren't the ones with the most willpower or the most spare time. They are the ones who show up, follow the structure, stay honest with themselves, and keep going on the days they can’t be arsed.
That's the difference.
So, this IS for you if…
You're done with the on/off cycle and actually want to break it this time
You're willing to go all-in for 8 weeks
You want to understand what works for you, not just be told what to do forever
You can be honest, reflect, and take time to check in with yourself
You'll keep the daily standards even when life gets a bit messy
And you’re ready to make some bold changes
This probably IS NOT for you (right now) if…
You're after a fast, effortless fix with no change to how you actually live
You're not willing to put the coffee, wine or vape down even for a few weeks
You'd rather be handed rules to follow than understand why they work
One last honest note:
Because the Reset strips things right back, if you're pregnant, managing a health condition, or have any history of disordered eating, please flag it at the end of the application and we'll have a proper chat first as we may be able to adapt things.
Price
£499 for the full 8 weeks – paid in full
Prefer to split it? No problem:
8 weekly payments of £65.
Basically, the price we’re offering for this cohort isn’t a reflection of what Built to Last delivers.
We already know the programme works – and bloody well.
It simply reflects the fact that Built to Last is still at the beginning of its journey. And right now, we want the people joining us to be part of that journey – helping us build the community, shape what comes next and make the whole experience even better as it grows.
And as Built to Last continues to grow, so will the price.
So, if this feels like the right time for you, we’d love you to be part of what comes next.
You Still With Me?
If after all that you've not nodded off… firstly, respect.
And if you're reading this thinking, "Right… I actually need this," then good. That feeling's probably there for a reason.
So, how do you get involved?
There's no "buy now" button here, and that's on purpose. Instead, there's a short application form.
If this feels right for you, fill it in and apply from there. I read every single one myself, because I want to be confident this is genuinely going to work for you before you commit. And if I don't think it's the right fit, I'll tell you honestly and point you towards something that suits you better.
We will be capping places to make sure we can deliver the experience and standard we expect, so this probably isn’t one to sit on while you “think about it.”
Everything needs to be finalised by Sunday 6th September, as prep week starts Monday 7th.
So if something in you feels a little nervous… but also a little excited by the idea of finally becoming the person you know you're capable of being…
Then fill in the form below, and I'll be in touch.
Much love,
Evan x
